Built in 1861 according to the plans of Napoleon III, the Grand Hôtel de Plombières is located directly in the Grands Thermes of the city. The thermal baths are flanked on either side by two large hotels. Built above naturally hot springs (83°), the Napoleon Spa and its 3-star Grand Hotel are unique in France. Today, the site has preserved all its grandeur and soul of yesteryear.
Plombières-les-Bains is a small spa town in the heart of the Vosges. It attracts and fascinates with its waters, its baths (6 baths are listed as Historic Monuments) and its famous 1000 balconies adorning the facades of the town houses. The valley of Plombières-les-Bains, with its balsamic scents of pine and beech, is a real enchantment for the senses. A village with the charm of yesteryear, in Plombières, you will be transported out of time and will sleep "like a baby". Only 500 metres from the Grand Hotel, the Roman Balneo Spa welcomes you to recharge your batteries (Spa currently closed). During this unique journey in France, you will discover a thermal water pool, steam baths, whirlpools and a room known as the "trombes d'eau". You will also be able to benefit from the expert hands of our beauticians to relax in depth.
In the Vosges, discover Gérardmer and its emblematic lake. In summer, as in winter, this small family resort in the Vosges will delight you with its wealth of outdoor activities (downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, etc.). The Hohneck, the Ballon des Vosges and the many Vosges lakes are all great walks to be had during your stay in the heart of this green and pleasant department.
