Popinns was born from a culture, that of a family attached to the values of openness, hospitality and generosity. Thus, very early on, the family group is convinced that it is more useful to breathe new life into structures that are losing momentum than to create new ones. In 2004, the charming hotel La Cocoteraie was the first heart-stopper acquisition in Guadeloupe. From the end of 2008, Popinns set up in major cities (Ile de France, Montpellier, Strasbourg and Lourdes) then everywhere in France (Provence, Dauphiné, Languedoc, Alpes, Vosges, Pyrénées, Jura, Puy de Dôme, Alsace, Loire and Normandy castles) and along the French coasts.
In 2014, with the takeover of 5 sun residences and homes in Lyon, the Popinns association was born. In 2015, the 17 M Vacances establishments were integrated into the group, then in 2016, the 8 Gens de Mer hotels, former places of reception for the families of long-distance sailors. Thus, Popinns affirms its "popular" character: family, friendly and accessible to all. Today, Popinns manages and runs a fleet of 82 hotels, residences, holiday villages, spa (Plombières) and golf course (Touraine) spread over the 13 regions of the territory. ECOFIH.
